Your posts were collected. You can ask us to erase them.
Who this page is for
Researchers using Risos AI may collect public social-media posts and comments for scholarly analysis (netnography). If your post was collected, you were never asked for consent, and under the law consent was not the basis for it. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in scientific research.
What remains your right: asking for that data to be erased (PDP Law Art. 44(c)). This page is how. You do not need a Risos account, you do not pay anything, and you never send us an identity document.

How long data is kept
Even if you never contact us, collected data expires on the schedule below. Each clock starts on the date of collection, not the date you posted.

Asking for earlier erasure
Four steps. Step 2 exists so that nobody else can erase your data, and so that you cannot erase anybody else's.
- Submit the form below. You receive a ticket number and a one-time proof code, valid for 72 hours.
- Publish that proof code from the account in question, in your bio, a new post, or any publicly visible reply. Only the account holder can do this. Once we have checked it, you may delete it again.
- Send us the link using the second form below.
- We notify the researchers involved and give them 14 days to file a written objection. Absent an objection, the erasure runs.
We never ask for an ID card, a selfie, or any identity document. Collecting more personal data from someone who came to reduce their footprint is the opposite of protection.

This page never tells you whether your account name appears in any dataset, and the answer is identical for every input. That is deliberate: a person's participation in a study is itself personal data, and a form that confirmed it would become a tool for anyone wanting to check up on them.

What gets erased, and what does not
Erased: the text of your post, your account name, the source link, any image/video/audio downloaded with it and its transcript, every quotation derived from it in the researcher's workspace, and the copy of your text inside the analysis file. That copy is redacted in place so it cannot be read again.
Not erased automatically: analytical sentences written by the researcher that happen to mention you, a memo, say, or a findings paragraph. Those are somebody else's scholarly work, and having a machine rewrite them would damage work that may be under examination. Every such line is flagged for human review, and we will not tell you "all your data has been erased" while something remains.
Not erased: your original post on the social platform itself, that is beyond our reach. And the record that an erasure took place, which we keep for 5 years as proof of compliance; that record does not contain your name.
If your request is refused
Scientific research has its own exemption under the PDP Law (Art. 15(1)(e)). If a researcher objects and the objection is upheld, you will be told, with reasons. You are entitled to complain to the competent data protection authority.
