1. Acceptance
By signing up or using Risos AI, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
2. Service
Risos AI is an AI-powered research assistant platform for Indonesian students, lecturers, and researchers. Features include statistical analysis, QDA, project management, team consultation, and WhatsApp/Telegram integration.
3. Account & Responsibility
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential
- One account per individual — sharing is prohibited except within research_journey team contexts
- You warrant that content you upload does not violate copyright or applicable law
4. Prohibited Use
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or API abuse
- Uploading illegal, copyright-infringing, or privacy-violating content
- Distributing malware, phishing, or other malicious activity
- Academic plagiarism — use AI output as reference, not as a substitute for original thinking
5. Payment & Refunds
- Subscription is paid in advance for a fixed period (weekly/monthly/yearly) and does not auto-renew
- Subscription payments are non-refundable except for systemic downtime > 24 hours (compensated as automatic extension)
- Token add-ons are valid until end of subscription period and do not extend active time
- Plan pricing may change with at least 14 days' notice
- Payment disputes handled via admin@risos.co.id within 14 working days
6. AI Output & Disclaimer
Risos AI can make mistakes. Always verify results with your academic supervisor or trusted references. We are not liable for research decisions made solely on AI output.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain copyright in content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that content as needed to operate the service. Risos AI and its logo are trademarks of PT Riset Sinergi Sosial.
8. Termination
You can delete your account anytime via Settings → Privacy. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms after written warning (except for serious breaches requiring immediate action).
9. Affiliate Program (Refer-a-Friend)
Risos AI offers an affiliate/referral program (token bonuses & cash commission). Its full terms — how it works, rewards, milestones, payout, tax, and prohibitions — are set out in the separate Affiliate Program Rules / Terms, which form an integral part of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes are first attempted through amicable settlement; failing that, through the competent district court of Pekanbaru.
